You can do it with a Rune Remover NPC, there’s one where vanilla card remover used to be, and others scattered around the map. Removing runes is SAFE and costs 75k + Star crumb + Yellow gemstone, also 25k extra for each rune after the first one in the equipment.

Other tips for survivability ?
We strongly recommend checking food stands around, they might offer a better deal than buying potions, and also try to get elemental endow runes for armor, they are life savers. Remember to refine your gear!
Gear refining
No weapon levels, armors and weapon always uses Orideceon and Elunium, safe limit is at +4, GEAR WILL BREAK, each refine is +7 ATK|MATK for weapons and +5 HDEF| +1 H.MDEF for armors, after the first upgrade.
I’m level 99, where can I rebirth?
Ask your second job changer, they will tell you where you need to go, since each job has to go to a different city to rebirth.
