Swordsman

Summary

A Swordman is a strong-willed fighter seeking to lead other adventurers with their Sword and Shield. Though stubborn like the waves of the sea, a Swordman is able to use their powerful attack skills to change the tide on the battlefield. Growing up in Prontera's satellite port town of Izlude, where many skilled instructors work at the local Academy, they have been trained that the best defense is a good offense and protecting others should always be their priority.

A Swordman tends to have high ATK from their high STR and bonuses with One Handed Swords and Two Handed Swords, with many of their skills boosting the damage of these weapons, but they are also trained to use Spears, Axes, Maces, and Daggers. They can also equip heavy armor and shields to boost their DEF and their high HP pool from VIT helps with tanking mobs for their party. Some Swordmen have learned to control MATK from one handed swords.

To become a swordman:

• Once you reach Job Level 10.
• Talk to Zonda Begginer Teleport NPC to teleport to Izlude.
• Head west side of town [52, 169].
• Talk to the Swordman Guildmaster in the center room behind the desk who will change your job to Swordman.

Skill Trees

Each class in Runerok Online offers 3 main skill trees and 2 shorter side trees. Reaching level 3 of each skill is required in order to access the next skill within that same tree.

• Warrior: Two-handed sword damage dealer. Focused on short range combat and attack speed.
• Vitality: HP recovery and HP boost skills.
• Spearman: Spear damage dealer. Focused on short range combat and vitality.
• Meditation: SP recovery and SP boost skills.
• Mystic: One-handed sword damage dealer. Focused on short range combat and magic attack.

	Bash	Hits an enemy with crushing force. This skill causes the stun status to the target. Requires a short range class weapon.	Offensive
	Spear Stance	The player adopts the formation used by spear-wielding swordsmen, granting a small bonus to STR and VIT. Requires a spear class weapon.	Buff
